One of my favorite, less-well-known locations in the Mono Basin offered up some spectacular opportunities for me to channel Dali this January. Do click in, there's an interesting and very real texture to the water at the bottom of this image.
Shooting conditions haven't been this good in this location since about 2006, but are an artifact of the drought. Visit before our next winter hits, the lake level will rise again, and these conditions may, with any luck, never happen again. I will definitely be taking my Eastern Sierra workshop to this location in October.
